Christina is responsible for the sourcing and evaluation of for-profit and nonprofit investments within the Emerging Tech initiative.
Christina came to Omidyar Network with a financial services background and a deep interest in the intersection of business and global economic development. She was most recently an analyst in Goldman Sachs’ investment banking division, where she advised public and private companies across the growth spectrum in the renewables, power and utilities, energy, chemicals, and infrastructure sectors. In this role, Christina executed over $27 billion in domestic and cross-border merger and acquisitions deals and helped Fortune 500 companies raise about $6 billion in capital markets transactions. Christina started her career as a summer analyst in Goldman Sachs’ operations division, where she planned and executed change programs relating to the design of technological systems and processes supporting the sales and trading business.
Christina graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.B.A. from the Ross School of Business, a B.A. in political science, and a minor in development economics.
